First post on our blog

Hello students, and today, we want to get familiar with blogging so we can use it this quarter.

First, please sign up for a free Gmail account at gmail.com. Then, once you create an email account, please send me an email at mikelohre@gmail.com. I will then send you an email back to your new Gmail address and I will invite you to be a member of the blog.

Once you become a member of the blog, you can sign in, and then create a post. To do this, you have to click the link that says New Post in the upper right hand corner of the blog. We will play around with this today and write Journal 5 here on the blog so that we can get used to it.

I will help you as we go along, but the idea is to have a lot of fun and use the technology to share ideas and stories with each other. Good luck!
